2022 : Champagne Cardigan
Inspired by our beautiful customers and a little bit of FOMO - its called champagne cardigan after all :)
Perfect project to engage in flow and deep thought. Loving the yarn combination, colour and can't wait for winter to come.

Note : Holding both strands of yarn together. Love the resulting cosy fabric and sizing of medium. Also love the double knit placket.
Initial sleeve was too long even with skipping a repeat. It also felt quite voluminous. Washing and blocking increased the overall length - especially on the sleeve. Could be due to the raglan style.
Third time lucky. Reknitted the sleeve twice and cuff three times! Picked up 7 stitches under the arm then knitted two together on next round at either side (76st). Worked 7 sets of decreases every 8 rounds (62sts). On the last decrease went straight into cuff ribbing for 8cm. Total sleeve length is 32cm from under arm.
Body is 28cm from under arm to end of band with 10cm band.
Buttons picked up at a market stall in Mudgee.
It's now the most cosy and perfect cardigan.
