BUNDLE : Baby Blanket in Lucca

Babies, babies, babies... They are the sweetest little things all wrapped up in squishy handmade goodness. 

Be it knitted or crocheted, a baby blanket makes a classic and thoughtful gift.

We've put together some beautiful colour combinations in Bellissimo Lucca to help inspire you. Keep it simple with colour blocks in garter stitch or add a little interest with a classic chevron design. 

Bellissimo Lucca is a lovely blend of extra-fine merino wool and cotton perfect for keeping babies comfortable on a stroll through the park or by the water. With so many beautiful colours in the range it's hard to resist using them all! Machine washable makes it easy for busy parents too. We think it ticks all the boxes. 

Our sample (Berry Baby) is based on the Chevron Baby Blanket by Purl Soho. We cast on 142sts (10 x 14st repeats + 2) and the finished size is 50cm x 75cm (20inches x 30inches)
Add more stitches (repeats of 14sts + 2) and yarn for larger sizes.
